Rosemary, peppermint, wild orange, and frankincense essential oils are wonderful for focus and concentration. I am using these four oils because they are very simulating oils, can aid memory, and help clear the head. Together they can reduce nervous tension, fatigue, and maintain concentration. These oils are energizing and help the brain function properly.
The best way to use these oils to help you focus is topically and aromatically. Breathing these oils in and getting them in the bloodstream will help you in times of study, work, and give you a natural energy boost.
For topical use I would suggest making a roller bottle. Add 8 drops of each oil to a roller bottle and fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil. Apply to pulse points.
For aromatic use you can use a diffuser by adding 2 drops of each oil to the diffuser and diffusing them into the air. Diffusers release small particles of essential oils into the air and your body is getting the benefits it needs just by you breathing them in!
You can also place one drop of each oil into the palm of your hand, rub them together, and cuff them over the nose. This is a great thing to do when you want aromatic benefits and you’re not at home with a diffuser.
Have you ever used essential oils to help you focus on a big test or to help you get a job done at work? Share your experiences in the comments! I would love to hear from you!
